New Century College welcomes two new staff members to our administrative team. Donna Sherrard joins NCC as the executive assistant to Dean Lisa Gring-Pemble, and Carrie Drummond is handling communications and outreach. Both Donna and Carrie came to NCC from other academic units within the University and are equally excited by the opportunity to work with NCC staff, students and alumni.

Donna will offer a range of administrative support to Dean Gring-Pemble, and will also coordinate projects with other NCC administrative staff and work-study students. Donna has been at Mason nine years, and prior to that directed a day care facility--all of this following her first career raising two children.

Carrie will help craft NCC internal and external communication pieces including web content, recruiting and promotional materials. Carrie looks forward to working with faculty, students and alumni to highlight the exciting research and learning opportunities available through NCC. Carrie has been at Mason for three years, and previously held a variety of communications and development-related positions. Carrie also served as a Peace Corps volunteer in Kazakhstan.

Already, Donna and Carrie have made a noticeable and positive difference in NCC. They share office 405 in Enterprise Hall and love to have visitors. Please stop by and say hello.
