Amy L. Lewis, Ed.D., is an associate professor of humanities for INTO George Mason University and affiliate faculty for the Higher Education Program in the College of Humanities and Social Sciences. She has also taught at Mason Korea and for the Honors College.

With more than two decades of experience in the public higher education and government sectors, Dr. Lewis’ professional portfolio centers around international education, intercultural development, cultural studies, public humanities, and pedagogy.

Dr. Lewis has been an active leader in education professional associations including serving on board of directors for NAFSA’s Embassy Dialogue Committee on Education (EDC); Society of Intercultural Education, Training, and Research in the U.S. (SIETAR-USA); and the Fulbright Association National Capital Area Chapter.
