Section Information for Spring 2019
Social Innovation in Action explores the skills, knowledge and mindsets used by leaders innovating solutions to today's pressing social and environmental problems. Students will explore the approaches of social innovators that allow them to operate across disciplinary, cultural and sectoral boundaries to forge productive collaborations with key stakeholder groups. Participants will also engage in a hands-on, replicable innovation process that will have them producing and demonstrating a prototype solution to their choice of sustainability challenge by the end of the semester.
