SIS Intern Spotlight: Alessaundra Shallal

Meet Alessaundra Shallal, an SIS senior, majoring in INTS with a concentration in Legal Studies, who is also minoring in International and Comparative Studies. She is interning with Opportunities, Alternatives, and Resources (OAR) NOVA as a Services Coordinator this semester, and has her pick of any department for her spring internship with them. She is currently deciding between Court Programs or the Re-Entry and Family Services department, consulting with department heads and interns to make an informed choice.

SIS Graduate Lecturer, Kris Cleland, is researching how undergraduate students are using AI in their everyday lives and in navigating college. 

Are you an undergraduate student that would like to share your thoughts and experiences on how you and other students are using AI in your everyday life and college? Please reach out to me at kcleland@gmu.edu to schedule an interview over Zoom! Interviews are expected to last about an hour, largely depending on how much you want to share.
