Next Steps in Healthcare and Science

Talk to professionals working in health and science about how they’ve applied the skills they learned in class to the work they do now. Panelists will share insights on entry-level opportunities as well as career options outside of academia for graduate students. Take advantage of this opportunity to learn more and network with your peers! 

Health and Science Practice Interview Day
Tuesday, April 17, 9:30 am to 3:30 pm SUB I, 3400
Prepare to meet with recruiters at the Health and Science Career Fair by polishing your interview skills! Meet one-on-one with a health or science employer for a 30-minute mock interview followed by constructive feedback. Past employers included Pediatric Specialists of Virginia/Children’s National, ATCC, and Integrity Management Services. Register today by selecting “Campus Interviews I Qualify For” in HireMason.

American Chemical Society on Campus 
Tuesday, April 17, 2 to 6 pm Fenwick Library, Main Reading Room (2001) 
ACS on Campus, the American Chemical Society’s premier outreach program, will present a half-day event on communication, publishing, and career paths! Get tips and tools for publishing your research from ACS editors and local professionals, and stay for the exciting career panel on jobs beyond the bench. There will be plenty of time to network and make lasting connections.
