Application Deadline: Changemaker Student Summit 2015

If you are an integrative studies student who embraces social justice/social change/social innovation and would benefit from attending a conference in San Diego to meet other like-minded students, please contact Donna Sherrard (dsherrar@gmu.edu), explain briefly why you want to attend the conference, and list one faculty reference (You do NOT need a reference letter).

DEADLINE in March 6 and there are funds to support up to two students to attend.

What is the Summit?

An opportunity for student leaders to connect, collaborate and generate ideas for change at the first annual Changemaker Student Summit (CSS). The summit will serve three purposes for participants: (1) create a highly interactive forum for the exchange of student centered initiatives and projects for changemaking; (2) promote student networking with like-minded peers; and (3) generate realistic and efficient ways for changemakers to collaborate across and beyond the AshokaU network.

Who should attend?

Ideal student attendees should be:

Freshmen, Sophomore or Junior students
In leadership positions of changemaking initiatives on-campus
Interested in expanding one or more on-campus initiatives to other universities
In positions to help grow the Changemaker initiative on your campus
