Elizabeth Gunn Citizenship Award School of Integrative Studies

The Elizabeth Gunn Citizenship Award is named in honor of Elizabeth “Betsy” Gunn, a retired New Century College faculty member whose scholarship and teaching focused on active student engagement in the varied communities around them. The Gunn award is given to a first year student who, while enrolled in NCC's Mason Cornerstones program, most impressively demonstrated effective citizenship inside and outside the classroom. Students are nominated by the faculty.
