New Century College would like to congratulate the following NCC and Cornerstones students on receiving the College of Humanities and Social Science’s (CHSS) Freshman Academic Achievement Scholarship:
Sarmad Butt (INTS)
Raquel Friedmann (ESS)
Tameka Parker (PSYCH), a 2012-1013 Cornerstones student.
All three students were initial winners of the Freshman Academic Achievement Award, which recognizes academically-talented freshmen within CHSS; recipients of this first award are then invited to apply for the Freshman Academic Achievement Scholarship. In all, seventy-two NCC students were recognized for Freshman Academic Achievement award.
