New Century College Adds a Concentration in Social Justice to Their BA in Integrative Studies

This fall, New Century College will introduce the Social Justice concentration, a unique program designed to prepare students for vocations or further studies related to social, political, and economic equality and justice. Several interesting courses have been created specifically for the Social Justice concentration. These courses include Poverty, Wealth, and Inequality, Environmental Justice, and Animal Rights.

As with other NCC concentrations, Social Justice will include an experiential component, further differentiating the program from other social justice programs in the U.S. Experiential Learning allows students to engage in outside-of-the-classroom experiences and put into practice the knowledge they’ve gained in the classroom.
