US Department of State, Study of the US Institutes for Student Leaders, has unanimously approved a proposal submitted by NCC's Lisa Gring-Pemble and Al Fuertes, together with two other faculty from Mason, under the leadership of Susan Graziano, International Grant Coordinator, Office of the Provost. With the $422,000 grant, the university will host 20 students from Colombia, Ecuador and Venezuela in July 2011, and 20 students from Bolivia, Peru, and Paraguay in January 2012.
