Zavin Smith honored as 2025 CHSS SIS/BIS distinguished alum

The College of Humanities and Social Sciences is proud to honor Zavin Smith, BA Integrative Studies '00, CERB Leadership Studies '03, MA Telecommunications '03, with the 2025 School of Integrative Studies/Bachelor of Individualized Studies Distinguished Alumni Award. 

Smith champions access to education and community connection in his role as assistant vice president of annual and constituent giving and strategic initiatives at George Mason University. He leads fundraising efforts that support research, the Honors College, the Office of Access, Compliance, and Community, and initiatives focused on interfaith dialogue and LGBTQIA inclusion. 

Smith’s work reflects a deep commitment to building meaningful relationships across the university community.
