Registration is now going on for this year's Philippines 2019 Summer Study Abroad Program, a 6-credit course of experiential learning in Human Trafficking and Community Engagement. The program runs from June 24 until July 22 (4 weeks). Attached are the course syllabus, the daily schedule of activities, including a flyer for your information. The Philippines program has been going on for 10 years now. This year is the eleventh year. Below is the link to register and additional program information:

Also, if you are interested in earning a maximum of 9 credits in 4 weeks, you can further register the same program as an independent study. Dr. Fuertes will work as your faculty adviser for that. If you are graduating in May and plan to pursue graduate studies in the Fall, you can register the Philippines program for graduate credits. There are scholarships available at the Global Education Office. You can also apply for financial grant. Email Dr. Fuertes at afuertes.gmu.edu if you have questions or clarifications on this regard.
