Lindsey Macdonald is a PhD candidate in the Department of Cultural Studies with fields in Marxist political economy and critical media studies. She is currently working on her dissertation, "Capitalist Crisis and the Algorithmic Imagination: Reconstituting the Conditions for Capital Accumulation After the 2007-9 Financial Collapse." Prior to joining the School of Integrative Studies, she taught courses for the Department of Global Affairs and Department of Cultural Studies and also worked as teaching assistant in the Honors College.
