Np fellows2

Nonprofit Fellows enroll in three academic courses and experiential learning (internship).  The program is 15-credits and meets the requirements for a minor in nonprofit studies.

  • INTS 331: The Nonprofit Sector
  • INTS 431: Principles of Fundraising
  • GOVT TBD: Leading in the Nonprofit Sector
  • INTS 490 or GOVT 480: Internship credits

The faculty integrate topics across the courses.  Experiential learning from the internship is woven into class discussions and into course assignments in all three courses.

All courses are scheduled on George Mason's Arlington campus.  A stipend to offset some transportation costs will be provided.

If you have already completed one of these courses but would like to be considered for the Nonprofit Fellows program, please contact Kelly Dalton (, the coordinator of the Nonprofit Fellows program.
