Examples of projects
- Helped an organization pass (with a perfect score) a Department of Corrections audit so they can continue to provide prisoner re-entry support for formerly incarcerated women
- Connected Ethiopian and Afghan refugees with community resources
- Advocated for Asian Americans' rights at the Virginia State Capitol
- Raised funds for low-income seniors
- Provided crisis support for women experiencing domestic abuse
- Canvassed for support for laws banning the use of plastic bags
- Helped military families with airfare costs so they can visit loved ones hospitalized overseas.
