Spend time in service of Brothers Brother while getting to know local nonprofits. This one-of-a-kind service project features up to three hours of hands-on volunteer work, along with the opportunity for casual conversation with representatives from the following organizations: American Cancer Society, Community Foundation for Northern Virginia, FACETS, Generation Hope, Ronald McDonald House and Service Source

Public Service Programs

Wednesday, April 25, 5 to 6 pm SUB I, 3400

A panel of professionals working in public service at organizations will be discussing the work they do, and how it has impacted their careers. Organizations on the panel include: City Year, JET Program, Peace Corps, Teach For America and Urban Teachers.

NAMI Site Visit

Friday, April 27, 9 am to 12 pm | National Alliance on Mental Illness (NAMI)

Headquartered in Arlington, NAMI is the nation’s largest grassroots mental health organization. Mason students are invited for a tour and staff meet and greet. A $10 fully-refundable deposit is required.

An email will be sent to students about the NAMI site visit. The first 25 students that respond and bring their $10 refundable deposit will be registered to attend the site visit.
