Interested in an internship at the Smithsonian Institution (SI)?

This Wednesday, January 24th from 1:00-2:00pm at George's (3rd floor Johnson Center) Karen Carter, SI Program Specialist, will talk about the broad array of SI’s academic appointment opportunities, from museums to programs to administrative offices. Learn about:

  • basic qualifications
  • best times to apply
  • how to search for opportunities
  • tips for navigating the on-line application system
  • what reviewers look for in essays
  • other pertinent information. 

 

Immediately following the presentation, we will have representatives from the Office of Student Scholarship, Creative Activities, and Research, Smithsonian-Mason School of Conservation, and Career Services available to additional information on how to get involved. Refreshments will be provided.
