JumpBunch of Northern Virginia is looking for coaches like you! JumpBunch is a non-competitive introduction to sports and fitness for children ranging from 18 months-12 years old where we bring new activities and equipment each week. If you have a desire to share your love of sports and fitness, work with children, or both, we want you! We are also able to accommodate school internships/experiential learning, as long as it works with your advisor/program. Contact Nalani Cates at with your resume to apply.


  • Must pass a background check and/or FBI fingerprinting as required by state
  • Must be able to bend, kneel, stoop, jump, jog, and otherwise move actively to execute a class. Must be able to occasionally carry large amounts of equipment
  • Must be able to communicate with customers ranging from young children to facility directors
  • Must be prompt, reliable, and able to work independently with no direct supervision
  • Must be patient and have a desire to work with children
  • Must provide own transportation and adequate auto insurance coverage
  • Must only be in need of part-time employment

YoKid is committed to fostering positive role models and leaders in the community. We are welcoming students interested in NGO management, education and mindfulness to join the team on a part time basis. Our internships are unpaid but university credit has been arranged in the past.

Carz Cruizin to Cure Cancer Intern

Essential duties and responsibilities include the following:

New Sponsor Development

  • Creation of New Sponsor Solicitation Mail Packet
  • Identification of potential major sponsors
  • Mailing of Sponsor Solicitation Packet
  • Follow up phone calls to potential sponsors
  • Coordination of new sponsors logo to Tom Sadowski
  • Assist new sponsors with location of display table at event

Foundation Grant Solicitation

  • Coordinate grant writing requests with Kate Brinkley
  • Help identify potential foundations
  • Assist Kate Brinkley with follow up on grant requests
  • Record keeping of grant donations received

Car Club awareness campaign

  • Identify local car clubs
  • Contact key officers at each club
  • Email flyers to car club officials and member
  • Attend club rallies to hand out flyer

Car Dealership awareness campaign

  • Identify high end and exotic car, truck and motorcycle dealerships in the local area
  • Contact marketing manager or sales manager of each dealership to introduce event to them
  • Solicit sponsorship of the event
  • Ask for permission to post posters and flyers at each dealership

Local Business awareness campaign

  • Identify local businesses where posters and flyers may be installed and handed out
    • Target prospects include
      1. Restaurants
      2. Vehicle repair shops
      3. Vehicle Customizers
      4. Cancer centers and doctors’ offices who treat cancer patients
      5. Entertainment venues such as Top golf or driving ranges etc.

Banner Display Campaign

  • Identify high visibility locations for the installation of large banners the month before the event.
  • Seek permission to install banners
  • Retrieve banners after car show is over

PSA Campaign

  • Identify newspaper, radio stations and TV stations who will promote event for free Website Car Show Registry identification project that will include
  • Identify as many websites as possible that list car shows all over the country and specifically have a registry for VA car shows, then requesting permission to register our event on the website and other social media pages such as Facebook
  • List each website should be recorded on the car show promotion spreadsheet with the URL of each website or Facebook page etc. along with a copy of the description of our event that was posted. All such postings should point back to our website,

Design and create a new website working with JTC host

Qualifications and Experiences

  • Good communication skills, both oral and written
  • Knowledge of Microsoft
  • Willingness to ask for donations as well as talk to the public about the event
  • Provide own transportation
  • Prior experience working with non-profit helpful
