Section Information for Spring 2024
This course invites students to identify and evaluate changing definitions of community including place-based communities, and communities of interest or identity, which may or may not be connected to place. Attention will also be given to the development of analytical and practical tools needed to investigate how individuals, organizations, and the state create, sustain, and dissolve communities.
