This class looks at a variety of health and health care issues.  We will examine several of the contemporary major health concerns and explore the biology and medical implications of these diseases and how our society deals with potential life-­‐altering information.  We will also explore who is making the decisions on the allocation of research funds and prevention of disease.

Also explores the biology and medical implications of these diseases and how our society deals with potential life-altering information.
