Misty has been in various roles at GMU for 17 years. Currently, she splits her time between teaching and university-wide collaborative efforts, which include assessment, transfer initiatives, curriculum development and faculty development.

In previous roles, she has helped students explore study abroad, volunteer, and Living Learning Community opportunities. She has also provided academic advising across Bachelor degrees, and towards accelerated Masters degrees.
