History, Childhood Studies, and Education
Kelly Dunne is an alumna of the College of William & Mary and George Mason University. She has been with SIS since 1996, serving as the Executive Director since 2016. She is also a faculty member in the Human Development & Family Science and Women & Gender Studies programs. Her academic interests are in history, childhood studies, and education. She was instrumental in the development of the university-wide Childhood Studies minor and the Childhood Studies concentration offered by the School of Integrative Studies. To allow students the opportunity to immerse themselves in a culture while learning its history, she leads study abroad & field studies courses in Ireland, the United Kingdom, and New Orleans.
