New Century College faculty member Kristin Scott has received a book contract from Palgrave Macmillan to publish her book entitled, The Digital City and Urban Mediate Ecologies. Dr. Scott also received the 2015 Top Paper in Communications and Technology Award at the Annual Eastern Communication Association Convention in Philadelphia for her paper entitled, "Smart City Seattle and the Geographies of Exclusion."
